The Future of Hospital, Doctor Replaced by a Robot

What kind of hospital would be in the future? Certainly more advanced, sophisticated and technologically. Everything was computerized by the tools of modern versatile. Not the doctor ruled out any position taken by the robot.
In developed countries like America, it had already applied the Methodist Hospital in Houston. The doctors there use robots the size of 5 inches could move anywhere with a monitor on top that connects doctors with his surroundings.
With the robot, the doctor can monitor the situation and give direction to the patient from wherever he is. That way he can monitor a lot of people at once without having to get out of his office or are there other matters.
Robots that walk like cleaning the floor is guarded by a medical team at the room around the patient. The robot has the ability to visualize the doctor in front of the patient.
The robot is also equipped with a radio-frequency ID to track the presence of doctors, nurses, and some existing equipment in the hospital so he could respond to emergency circumstances. Other sophisticated facilities available in the modern hospital that is a mattress ‘smart’.
The mattress can transmit images heartbeat and breathing, so patients can automatically provide a direct warning to the nurse more quickly if there is interference with the transmission results. But experts and doctors still have a dream about the future of the hospital they were.
“One day, hope that all doctors can know the patient’s medical history through access to a health identifier device implanted under the skin tissue of patients,” said Naomi Fried, of Kaiser Permanente’s Sidney R. Garfield Health Care Innovation Center in San Leandro, California, as quoted from USNews, Thursday (1/10/2009).
According to Datamonitor, – a company that produces medical equipment -, tool dreamed that doctors may soon be attending. Tools which he said would be called telemedicine is like a remote that can monitor the patient’s condition and even remote surgery by the doctor.
Hospital investors basically have 2 goals to build a future hospital use of robots and other advanced technologies to improve the clinical care of patients and physicians to reduce error rates. It is expected stress levels would be decreased patient and the healing process will be faster.
“In the year 2015, probably care centers and medical action is done at home, do not need a hospital because it can be done by robots doctors and other tech facilities,” said Fried.
