Sorafenib for Cancer Research Stay Continued

Bayer Schering Pharma to continue research and testing of the use of sorafenib in the treatment of some types of cancer, other than liver cancer and kidney cancer. The study included the use of sorafenib efficacy in cases of lung cancer, breast cancer, skin cancer, thyroid cancer, and leukemia.
Further research be conducted after the effective sorafenib can inhibit the growth and spread of cancer cells in cases of liver cancer and kidney cancer. Bayer Schering Pharma to invest 400 million U.S. dollars to help the researchers to the program.
It was mentioned by Dr Dimitris Voliotis, Vice President of Global Clinical Development Montville Bayer Healthcare, the U.S., in a media workshop in Taipei, Taiwan, Sunday (27 / 9). “Sorafenib is clinically proven to be able to suppress the growth and spread of cancer cells in cases of liver and kidney cancer. So there is hope, sorafenib effectively to suppress the growth and spread of cancer cells in other cancers.
