Herbal drug relapse trigger Epilepsy

People with epilepsy were asked wary of consumption of herbal medicines because of potential increased risk of recurrence. To control epileptic seizures, patients had been taking the drug should be disciplined.
Epilepsy is a brain tissue damage caused by birth injury, accidents, brain infection, stroke, tumors, or step over to the child. The drugs are not given directly to cure epilepsy, but merely to control or dilute the attack.
A number of researchers from Germany in the Journal of Natural Products says, herbal medicines, particularly those containing Ginko biloba, will lead to epileptic seizures. They believed that herbs have “destructive effects”.
Ginko biloba herbal remedy made from the extract of Ginko biloba leaves many consumers use in European countries to eliminate a variety of complaints, ranging from depression, improve memory, headaches, to dizziness.
In his research, researchers from the University of Bonn, Germany, focuses on chemical compounds called Ginko biloba ginkgotoxin. Various evidence indicates, these chemicals trigger the body’s chemical signals associated with epileptic seizures.
Although the researchers could not prove the reality that herbal medicines may increase the risk of relapse, patients were asked remain cautious in taking Ginko biloba. Manufacturers of herbal medicine manufacturers are also advised to reduce levels of toxins from herbal ingredients.
