Controlling Oily Hair

The hair is not shiny, lank, coarse, and looked wet, can be interpreted as oily hair. This type of hair has oil glands in the scalp produce more oil (sebum) due to hormonal changes in the body. Usually, increased sebum onto the hair follicle, and spread to the hair shaft, rather than into the hair shaft.
Is a substance sebum oil and helps keep the hair softer, supple, and flexible. However, the more sebum in the head, the look lank and greasy hair, too.
Oily hair type there are two; grease from the scalp to the hair shaft, and an oily scalp but dry hair shaft.
Oily hair is usually difficult to overcome, easily tangled, and hard hold hair. If allowed, oily hair can cause acne on the scalp, hair loss, dandruff, and chronic problems of the other’s hair.
How to control oily hair:
- Wash your hair regularly can reduce and eliminate the accumulated oil in the scalp and hair. Do not forget to use a special shampoo oily hair.
- Tap-tap with your fingertips slowly and gently. Do not rub or massage the scalp with nails, but can hurt the scalp, rub with a nail makes your scalp produce more oil.
- Try to wash it with cold water, no hot water. Hot water opens the pores, thus making easier the oil out and produce.
- Find a shampoo product specially designed to remove oil in the scalp.
- Do not pile up water in wet conditions on the scalp. This could lead to oil from the scalp to move into the hair shaft. Let your wet hair still loose.
- Do it often touching, combing, brushing, or playing the hair. Because your fingers and brush on the hair trigger oil glands to produce, and move the oil from the scalp to the ends of the hair shaft.
- Avoid shampoo with moisturizer. Shampoo berpelembab (moisturizing shampoo) are designed to prevent dryness in the hair shaft, and not infrequently have oil, too.
- Do not apply conditioner on the scalp, applied in the middle of the hair shaft until the end of the course.
- For oily hair types, try not to have a fringe of hair, because it can move the oil from the skin of the scalp in the forehead. As a result, acne or other skin problems.
These things can be done to control oily hair and reduce the amount of oil in the hair. But if it is too severe, control and meet an experienced hairdresser.
