Researchers from Austria said that a cup of coffee each morning can increase brain activity in the memory and prevent short term memory lost. So no need to hesitate to consume coffee.
According to a study done by researchers at the Innsbruck Medical University, two cups of coffee per day, equivalent to 100 milligrams caffein can improve brain function and performance, especially related to memory.
“We found that the brain areas more active in those who consumed caffeine compared to those who do not. Areas that are specific areas that used to remember something,” said a radiologist, Dr. Florian Koppelstatter as quoted from Health24, Wednesday (16/9/2009 ).
