Description
Balanitis is inflammation of the head of the penis (the cone shape at the end of the penis). Posthitis is inflammation of the foreskin. In general, fungal or bacterial infection beneath the foreskin causes posthitis. Inflammation of the head of the penis and foreskin (balanoposthitis) may also occur. Inflammation causes pain, itching, redness, swelling and can ultimately lead to constriction (stricture) in the urethra. Description
The cause of shingles is the varicella-zoster virus, the virus that also causes chickenpox.
